That is one lucky find. I've had Megaman V for the gameboy since I was a kid (I'm 28 now) and recently my 4-year-old decided to peel the label off the cartridge. I was like "I'll just ebay a new copy, gameboy games can't be that expensive". Too bad this specific one IS quite expensive.

I'll cut to the chase: Is there any possible way you'd be willing to sell just the cartridge? I'm trying to find a copy for $40 or less, but it seems impossible (like I said, lucky find!). I'm willing to trade my label-less cartridge, and spend $40 for an intact cartridge. In the end though, it doesn't really matter, as I would have no intention of "making a profit", as I would still have my playable Megaman V, but it irks me that out of all the things that could get ruined, it had to be a $100+ gameboy game.

Anyhow, wonderful find, I can't believe you got it for $10. That's AMAZING.

Thanks for (maybe? lol) reading my reply :)

Majora's Mask is the best Zelda. I think the brilliant thing that MM says is "you can't do it all", which flies in the face of every other power fantasy video game ever. You're not some crazy ubermensch who can collect every sword, save every president, and kill every dude perfectly the first time. You, as the hero, must accept failure and the fact that helping person A comes at the opportunity cost of helping person B. More than the macabre art style and apocalyptic story, I think that was the most affecting part of MM.

one of these has been on my must have list for a long time...tho it seems every where i find them every one wants an arm and a leg for one. I myself how ever to quest after different variants as I am known to mod systems (not all but some) and certain system variants make better modification units than others. Then of course you have certain variants of the genesis that are only compatible with certain variants of the sega cd deck and the 32X ect. yes i do plan on completing my sega add on extravaganza some day....my JVC X'eye just does not do nearly enough to satisfy the collector in me

hello,
I have just started reading this site and I find a lot of your opinions seem to match mine tho i am ashamed to say i have never once played chrono trigger nor chrono cross tho I do have the final fantasy anthology which includes chrono cross.

I do not know if it is something you have covered as i am reading threw your site currently but i would absolutely love to see things like the USA finaly released FF3 vs the original JP or eng translated rom as I hear a lot of things ere edited names were changed and things of that nature to be more acceptable for the US culture.

Another JRPG I would like to see an article on as im curious what others think would be involving the lunar series and/or its evolution from sega cd to the Saturn (jp only if i recall correctly) to the PS1 and finally GBA and PSP.

I absolutely love retro JRPG games and am always interested in reading an article on them....rpg games now days have gone either western or just dont have the magic the generation of PS2 and older seemed to have that appealed to me.

any ways i just wanted to say i like reading your site and hope to find more interesting things and new perspectives on older games :-)
